Hi, I’m Ivan — a destination wedding photographer, and for much of the past decade I’ve been documenting weddings across Europe and beyond.
From the shores of Lake Como and the hills of Tuscany, to the cliffs of Amalfi, the streets of Lisbon, and the countryside of Belgium, France, and Austria — I go wherever the story takes me. Destination weddings are where I feel most at home: new light, new landscapes, and couples who want their day to feel like a real story, not just a set of photos.
Probably you are currently planning your wedding, and you also like editorial wedding photography with touches of aesthetics and fashion — pure colors, simple emotions, and portraits of the bride like in fashion magazines. I’m here to help you shine on your big day!
Somewhere along the way I found my style: Editorial, Aesthetic, Documentary and real moments — the kind of photography that feels like a fashion story, but never loses the real moment underneath it.
I never wanted to just “cover” a wedding day. I want to be there the way a good friend would be — calm, present, quietly making sure you both feel like yourselves in front of the camera, even in the middle of all the chaos a wedding day brings.
Outside of weddings, I’m a father to a little girl, and probably my proudest role of all. When I’m not shooting, you’ll usually find me traveling somewhere new — I love discovering the history and culture behind every place I visit — or at home with a vinyl record playing in the background; I’m a bit of a sucker for vintage sound and film cameras alike.
I also speak English, German, Ukrainian and Russian, which makes it easy to work naturally with couples and vendors from very different backgrounds.
My home base is Europe, but weddings are what take me further — and I’d love to hear about yours, wherever in the world it may be. For destinations outside Europe, we’ll simply work out the details together.
